We are currently looking for an SAP Data Migration Lead with previous manufacturing experience to join a project with a global end client of ours.
Start date: July 2026
Duration: 12-month initial contract with possible extensions
Location: Remote with twice per year travel to China (all expenses covered)

Role/Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute the SAP and MES data migration strategy.
- Lead data migration activities across SAP and MES workstreams.
- Document SAP and MES data models in collaboration with functional teams.
- Define the scope, approach, and strategy for all data migration objects.
- Design and manage data migration processes and environments for the global template.
- Lead and coordinate a team of Data Migration Specialists.
- Work closely with business and functional teams to deliver migration activities.
- Monitor data quality, integrity, and migration readiness throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan, manage, and oversee data migration test cycles in line with ERP deployment plans.
- Develop and maintain data migration test scripts and documentation.
- Coordinate and support the execution of migration testing activities.
- Provide regular status updates and progress reports to project stakeholders.
- Utilise SAP data migration tools, including LSMW, BODS, BOM, and Migration Cockpit.
